Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Google Ads

SEO and Google Ads are two highly effective digital marketing tools for many businesses, providing you use companies with the key technical expertise, and a proven track record in these activities.

SEO an abbreviation for ‘Search Engine Optimisation’. It is a digital marketing activity that focusses on growing on-line visibility in organic (non-paid) search engine results. SEO encompasses both the technical as well as creative expertise to enable improved rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness in on-line search engines. It is both a measurable and repeatable process that is used to send signals to on-line search engines to alert Google that your pages are worth showing in Google’s search results.

Google Ads, previously known as AdWords, is Google’s on-line advertising system. Advertisers can bid on certain keywords to enable their clickable ads to appear in Google’s listings, when a product or service is searched for by interested parties. These adverts will appear on search engine results with the symbol ‘Ad’ in a box in the corner of the listing. Advertisers have to pay for each ‘Ad’ click – Google therefore receives income from each search click.
